sketching it on Thursdays...

so I saw the sketch here on thegreenfrogstudio, and well loved the example and thought i would try it ...

supplies used:
papers; jillibean (sweet & sour)(blossom), crate paper (farmhouse), my minds eye (funday),  echo park (about a girl), bazzill (cream puff), recollections (kraft). inks; mister huey(barnwood), distressed inks(peeled paint, spiced marmalade, worn lipstick), jenni bowlin inks (weather vain). font bebas, and silhouette.

i don't think my page looks anything like the sketch. but that is the loveliness of sketches, there are some similarities to it. during the process i did discover that i need all the mister huey  colors for painting purposes.

p.s. wow that's a whole lot of stuff for a supply list.  thought i would keep track seeing as i saw something like it requested on a dt call for a online magazine.
